Congratulations to the overall winner, Cole Perry of York, PA, who set a course record with a time of 18:54; and to our overall female winner, Rebecca Doner of Mount Wolf, PA, who completed the 5K in 22:28. Overall Winners received a gift card to Miller Plant Farm and a fresh cut flower bunch. Prospective age group winners received a homemade whoopee pie from the Bakery at Miller Plant Farm. All 5K participants received a produce sampler.
This year’s event also featured the 1st Annual Kids Fun Run with two separate heats (ages 6 & under, and ages 7-10.) Overall winners of the Kids Fun Runs are as follows: Wyatt Miller (male, age 8 of New Freedom, PA), Tatum Kelliher (female, age 9 of York, PA), Alexandra Miller (age 5 of York, PA), and Jacob Stockton (age 6 of York, PA.) Age group winners received a gift card to neighboring Perrydell Farm & Dairy and chocolate covered pretzel rods from the Bakery at Miller Plant Farm. All Fun Run participants received a fresh cut sunflower and a pair of sunglasses.
