THE PEOPLE OF MILLER PLANT FARM
Since the business started, Miller Plant Farm has had its share of wonderful,
hardworking employees for nearly a century. In the peak spring months of operation
Miller Plant Farm may employ as many as twenty-five, mostly part-time seasonal
help. In the summer harvest months our small full-time staff is supplemented
by a few part-time employees as well. We cherish the opportunity to work with
and get to know many great folks in the York community that share the same passion
of high quality plants and produce. Our core staff consists of just six who are
employed year round full-time. Combined, our staff of six posseses 75+ years
of horticultural expertise. Please come out to the farm and meet us first hand
and allow us to assist you in all of your horticultural endeavors.

David Miller - son of John and Betty Miller - was born and raised on the farm. He began working full-time out of high school
in 1972. As the Farm Manager, Dave oversees growing, scheduling, planning of vine crops and much more. We call him "Mr. Fix-It". |

Diane Miller - wife of David - began working at the farm full-time in 1974. Today, she manages the retail store and garden center. |

Steve Slyder - grandson of John and Betty - began working full-time at the farm in 1985. Steve's responsibilities include
head vegetable and bedding plant grower, as well as wholesale plant sales and
wholesale produce sales. |

Greg Watson has been employed at the farm for over 30 years and manages shipping/receiving and soil preparation. |

Dustyn Miller - son of David and Diane - began working full-time at the farm in 2005 after graduating from Penn State
with a degree in Agribusiness Management. Dustyn's responsibilities include head grower of specialty and vegetative annuals and poinsettias as well as wholesale
and retail sales. |

Brent Clever has been employed at the farm for four years and is a graduate of the Pennsylvania
College of Technology (carpentry). Brent works as head grower of vine crops and commercial farmer wholesale sales. |
